TRINITY GETS A NEW DEAN

The installation has taken place in Monrovia of the Dean of the National Cathedral, Episcopal Church of Liberia.

The Very Reverend Canon A-Too Williams was inducted as Dean of the Church of the Holy Trinity Cathedral on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at an elaborate ceremony attended by Episcopalians and Christians from all walks of life.

In his message to the congregation, the Bishop of the Episcopal Church of Liberia, Rt. Rev. Dr. James B. Sellee welcomed the Very Rev. Canon A-Too Williams and family as they begin a new and higher form of ministry as Dean and Chief administrator of the Cathedral.

Bishop Sellee said members of Trinity Cathedral and Episcopalians in general have high hopes that Canon Williams will do well as he proved during his service at the St. Stephen Episcopal Church.

He urged Christians to learn to serve and work emphasizing that it is in working that you fine fulfillment in life and that through your work God Almighty will bless you.

Bishop Sellee said if the Episcopal Diocese is going to be great, Episcopalians must learn to serve, adding that by learning to serve, the church and the nation will be great.

The Very Reverend Canon A-Too Williams takes over as Dean of the Cathedral replacing the then Very Reverend Dr. James B. Sellee who was early this year elected as Bishop Coadjutor, and subsequently enthroned as Bishop of the Episcopal of Liberia.
